Our Acceptable Use Policy
The purpose of our Acceptable Use Policy is designed to outline common breaches of Internet Etiquette (Acceptable Use), and the actions we will take in cases where the Acceptable Use Policy is breached. This document pertains to breaches of Acceptable Use that are also known as Internet abuse or "spamming."

Internet abuse includes the following, but is not limited to...
- Sending any kind of unsolicited or unwelcome e-mail to a substantial number of network users, anywhere on the Internet.
- Posting a single article or substantially similar articles to an excessive number of newsgroups or mailing lists (i.e., 20 or more).
- Repeated or deliberate posting of articles that are off-topic according to the charter of that newsgroup or mail list.
- Posting commercial advertising in almost any conference or newsgroup, unless it is specifically permitted within that group.

Internet abuse is undesirable because...
Some Internet Service Providers will block all access to the payment processing gateway, Web site, and e-mail support department. This affects not only the offending user, but also Secure Card Processing customers. Also, recipients of abuse messages sometimes get very upset and may retaliate with Denial of Service (DoS) attacks, affecting Secure Card Processing customers.

What happens if your account is associated with Internet abuse?
As a standard procedure Secure Card Processing investigates all reported occurrences of Internet abuse regarding our services. We will take action according to the circumstances and severity of the abuse. Secure Card Processing will normally issue a warning to first-time offenders, and implement any required action to minimize damage. If a abuse report indicates it is not your first offense or it is clear you purposefully intended to breach our Acceptable Use Policy, we may take any of the following actions:

- Suspension of your account
- Stopping all credit card processing
- Stopping all ACH transactions

- Possible termination of account

In addition, we always report any known illegal activities to the proper authorities.
